Step into a festive cookie-decorating workshop where attendees can learn insider tips from last year’s Gingerbread Contest winner and create their own edible holiday ornaments!
This cookie decorating workshop will be taught by last year’s Gingerbread Contest winner, Lisa Edson of Whisk Bakery, and each person walks away with 24 cookies to eat or gift!
Each attendee will receive hands-on instructions, tricks, and tips for decorating sugar and gingerbread cookies throughout the duration of the workshop. Each attendee will work on 12 cookies in class: 6 gingerbread and 6 sugar cookies. All tools and materials are provided.
The sugar cookies all represent holiday ornaments and will be created with piping and flooding techniques. See photos of the sample cookies to get an idea of what will be created.
Must be at least 8 years old to attend.
Each attendee will also leave with recipes for all cookies and icing, written instructions, practice piping sheet, bagged royal icing, and 12 blank cookies (6 gingerbread and 6 cookies) to decorate at home. One parking voucher for the WAVE Garage will be provided per registrant.
